He ﷺ was also known to recite these verses anytime he was ill. He would cup his hands, recite the chapters into them, and then pass his hands all over his body.
The Prophet ﷺ was known to recite these chapters of the Qur’an every night before he went to sleep. “Recite Surat Al-Ikhlas, Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas, three times at dawn and dusk. Narrated by Abdullah bin Khubaib r.a The Prophet ﷺ said: Also, if these verses were to be recited over a senile person, they would wake him up”.Īl-Ikhlas | Abu Dawood 2/86 | An Nasai 3/68 | Al Albani | Sahih Timithi 2/8ġ12:4 Nor is there to Him any equivalent.” “The Shaytan will not come near him or to his family, nor will he be touched by anything that he dislikes. In another narration Ibn Mas`ud r.a said: Whoever recites the 10 verses from Surat Al-Baqarah in a night, and then Shaytan will not enter his house that night”. “He who came to you at night, told you the truth although he is a liar and it was Shaytan”.Īsh-Sha`bi said that Abdullah Ibn Mas`ud r.a said: When the Prophet ﷺ heard the story he said to me: “When you go to your bed, recite Ayatul Kursi (2:255) for then there will be a guard from Allah who will protect you all night long, and Shaytan will not be able to come near you till dawn”. Please don’t take me to Allah’s Messenger ﷺ and I will tell you a few words by which Allah will benefit you”. Then Abu Hurairah described the whole narration and said, that person said to me: “I will take you to Allah’s Messenger ﷺ”. Then somebody came to me and started stealing of the foodstuff, I caught him and said: “Whoever recites Aytul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death”.Īllah ‘s Apostle ﷺ ordered me to guard the Zakat revenue of Ramadan.
Narrated by Abu Umaamah r.a The Prophet ﷺ said: His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially MercifulĢ:255 Allah – there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of ALL existence. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah and we are sincere in faith and devotion to Him although the disbelievers detest it. For Him is all favor, grace, and glorious praise. There is no might nor power except with Allah, none has the right to be worshipped except Allah and we worship none except Him. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent. Laa-ilaha illallahu mukh’liseena lahud deen
